Staying at The Lightline House feels calm, intentional, and easy. The interiors are light-filled and thoughtfully designed, with space to gather comfortably and room to retreat when you need quiet.

Days unfold naturally here — slow mornings, shared meals, long conversations, and time spent simply being together. It’s a house that works just as well for a full family stay as it does for a quiet weekend away, designed to feel lived in, not staged, in every season.

House Features

One-minute walk to town and a four-block walk to the beach, it’s effortless to have the best of daytime and nightlife without having to drive. 

❋ Made for Gathering (and Quiet)

The main house sleeps 8 with a private guest suite (accessible through the main house) that sleeps 2, all with full amenities. 

❋ Design forward and light filled

Clean lines, natural materials, and generous light define the interiors, creating a calm, clean atmosphere throughout the house.

❋ Year-Round Comfort

Thoughtfully designed for every season, the house feels just as inviting for winter weekends and fall retreats as it does in summer.

The Lightline House was newly renovated in 2021 by the current owners and owner-occupied since. This is the first summer it is open to outside guests.
The house has an extended set back, creating privacy and seclusion from the street.
The main lounge area has a sofa, two chairs and multiple floor poufs for lounging. Plus a lot of friendly and plants.

The open main floor leads from the lounge into a dining room that's built for group dinners with a table that can accommodate 10 guests.

The rear of the house has a seating area before leading to the back deck. We love this print of Slim Aarons "Poolside in Sotogrande" which inspired some of the home design.
Full kitchen featuring LG refrigerator, Bertazzoni range, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc. as well as all your day-to-day kitchen needs.
The first bedroom has a queen bed, desk, dresser and is secluded in the back of the house.
The next bedroom, typically used for kids (but not a requirement) has a bunk bed with pull out trundle as well as a single bed, sleeping four. There is also another desk and dresser in this room.
At the top of the stairs is the primary sitting room which has a zen-like feel and is drenched with natural light. It's perfect for morning yoga, evening relaxing or even the occasional post beach-nap.
The primary bedroom is oversized with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and a large master closet. Equipped with a TV and ceiling fan.
On the ground floor of the house is a Private Suite with its own entrance (from the main house) and private living area, kitchen, full-bath and bedroom . This is perfect for grandparents, caregivers, parents, kids or any other special privacy needs.

The back of the house features a custom-built cedar and ipe deck with a sofa - perfect for morning coffee, post-beach cocktails or late evening stargazing.
The Bridge Avenue beach entrance is just a short walk from the house, providing quick access to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Atlantic with the convenience of being able to stop back home at any time.
Bridge Avenue is the main road through Bay Head and a short walk to the beach. Along the way are many of the amenities you'll need for your stay - Muellers for coffee and cake, Charlie's for dining and drinks, Taylor Sam's provides all day fast-casua
